Basic Timeline

There is no clear itinerary as of now. The base plan is for as many people as possible to get to Costa Rica on or before Thursday, February 27. We fully understand that there will be all sorts of arrival times, so Friday will serve as the real kick-off day! As you will see, the schedule is more/less guidelines of what we could do. The goal is to simply enjoy the amazing location, the villa, the incredible beaches, and—most importantly—one another!

Thursday

Arrive to Costa Rica

Most likely you will be arriving in Costa Rica’s capital city of San José. You are welcome to arrive earlier than Thursday if you would like to explore beforehand, or to give yourself a little more time to settle in.

Find your way to Mal Pais / Santa Teresa

The location is accessible via car; HOWEVER, the 4-5 hour journey that it will take is not recommended. There are daily flights from San José to the city of Tambor. From there it is only about a 30- to 45-min car ride to the area we are all staying at. There is even a helipad on the villa, for those who would like to figure out how to get there via helicopter.

Check into your hotel or Airbnb

As mentioned, most people will be arriving at different times. It is recommended that you give yourself an opportunity to check into your hotel or Airbnb before making it over to the villa.

Dinner

For those friends and family who get there before 7pm, we will plan on having a nice big dinner together. Thankfully, the villa has a dining area that can seat over 20 people!
